Introducing. . . Lola !
Lola Poindexter works during the day as a billing specialist, works at night as an
exotic dancer at a local strip club.
Her job during the day is very hard and stressful due to the fact that
no one around her understands what she does. Unfortunately no one has a clue. She bills for locations all over the country and when she switches locations in the computer she pretends she's actually traveling to these cities.
She thinks she's on the verge of mental illness. Therefore, to keep her sanity, or so she thinks, Lola drinks heavily and chain smokes, in addition to talking to herself. She often tells jokes to herself which results in spontaneous laughter at very inconvenient times. She also enjoys singing random theme songs from very queer TV shows from her childhood.
She is very tired from long nights drinking and table dancing, so her looks during the day have
recently subsided. She has decided she no longer needs to do her hair or wear make up; it's too much of an effort.
She recently has been moved from her office of 3 years, to a hall way where she is surrounded by a shrunken head lady with an extremely high pitched voice, a crazy lady whose false teeth are constantly slipping out of place and a very openly bipolar lady.
Lola sometimes is in fear of her life working in this hallway, one day the crazies might turn on
her like everyone else has. Lola's one and only friend in the workplace is Consuela Bananahammock. They are attached at the hip and hated by most co-workers because of
jealousy over their good looks, wonderful sense of humor and over all great personalities.
Lola's night job is her escape from reality. She loves her local strip joint and looks forward to working there every night. Due to the fact that she has no other companionship other than her very strange relationship with Consuela, working at the strip joint fulfills her very desperate need for attention, even if it is coming from gross, perverted old men with smelly breath. But hey she's gets paid!! Consuela sometimes gives her a hard time about her career choice, but Lola knows once she loses her big belly she'll be on the stage next to her.
